What this is for

These calculators show how much of a gross salary is left after tax and contributions, and the reverse: which gross pay gives a wanted net pay. Every result comes with a breakdown, so you can see where each euro, krona or krone goes.

Where the data comes from

Every rate and figure comes from an official source: the Tax and Customs Authority (AT) and Social Security in Portugal, Skatteverket in Sweden, and Skatteministeriet and Skattestyrelsen in Denmark. Each country's "Method and sources" page names the document and the date it was last checked.

Independence

This site does not belong to any tax authority and is not connected to one. Results are estimates and do not replace your payslip, your tax return or professional advice.

How it is funded

The site is funded by advertising and possibly by affiliate links, always marked as such. Neither affects the calculations.
